The Honor Magic V5 is expected to launch by the end of this month in China. The rated battery size of the device was recently revealed through its CMIIT certification. According to a fresh leak, the Magic V5 might arrive with an even bigger battery than the Vivo X Fold 5, which is rumored to feature a 6,000mAh battery.

The Honor Magic V5, which bears the MHB-AN10 model number, was recently spotted at the CMIIT certification with a 5,950mAh rated battery. As seen in the above screenshot, tipster Panda is Bald was asked whether the Honor Magic V5’s battery would be bigger than the Vivo X Fold 5’s capacity.
He responded by saying bigger by 100, indicating that the Magic V5 would come with a 6,100mAh battery. This would make it the largest battery seen on any foldable phone to date.

The Honor Magic V5 is also tipped to deliver an 8-inch foldable inner display and a 6.45-inch 2K LTPO OLED outer screen, both featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the Magic V5 may include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The Magic V5 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Other rumored features include Magic 9.0 OS-based Android 15, wireless charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, satellite messaging capabilities, and an IPX8 water resistance rating.
It is also being said that the Magic V5 will arrive as the thinnest and lightest foldable phone despite packing the largest battery.
