As per the leak, the Honor Magic V6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This does not come as a surprise, as flagship foldable phones from other brands are also expected to feature the same chip.

He added that the device has entered the development stage with two possible battery variants. One packs a 6,900mAh dual-cell battery, while the other comes with a 7,200mAh dual-cell battery. To recall, the Magic V5 available in China also comes in 5,820mAh and 6,100mAh battery variants. The V6 will also support wireless charging.

If accurate, this device could become the foldable phone with the largest battery so far, while still offering a well-rounded flagship experience. The leak further states that current engineering prototypes are testing a 200-megapixel large-sensor main camera, paired with a 3x mid-sized periscope telephoto lens. Other features under testing include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dust and water resistance, and a very thin and lightweight design.

The Honor Power 2, expected to launch in January 2026, is also rumoured to pack a 10,000mAh battery.
