Honor is expected to hold a launch event on Oct. 15 in China. The event will see the arrival of the Honor Magic 8 series, which will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. At the same event, the company will also announce the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro as the first-ever tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Well ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the official renders and specifications of the device.

According to the tipster, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will feature a 13.3-inch LCD screen that offers a 3.2K resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a massive 12,450mAh battery.
The MagicPad 3 Pro will run on MagicOS 10-based Android and will have support for iOS / Android / HarmonyOS cross-device data transfer. It will also feature the company’s self-developed Honor E2 energy efficiency chip.
In the leaked images, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro can be seen in shades like Starry Gray, Floating Light Gold, and Moon Shadow White.
This tablet will be positioned higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered Honor MagicPad 3, which debuted in July. It features the same 13.3-inch 3.2K 165Hz LCD panel and a 12,450mAh battery with 66W charging.
The MagicPad 3 comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. For photography, it has a 9-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.
