Honor has officially announced another pair of mid-ranger tablets in the Chinese market – Honor Pad 6 and Pad X6. These devices come with largely similar specs, except for the dimensions and screen resolutions of the slates.
The Honor Pad 6, features a 10.1-inches FHD+ LCD display, while the Honor Pad X6 on the other hand, has a toned-down 9.7-inches 1200 x 800 pixels display.
Both tablets are powered by an octa-core Kirin 710A chipset which will be coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage space which is further expandable via a microSD card.
In the imaging department, there will be a 2 megapixels selfie camera at the front, as well as a single 5 megapixels shooter at the rear for both the Honor Pad 6 and Pad X6.
Other than that, the tablets also employs a dual-speakers configurations which make use of the latest Huawei Histen 6.1 audio technology.
To keep the lights on, both tablets draws power from a respectable 5,100mAh battery which top up via a USB-C port.
In terms of pricing, the Honor Pad 6 Wi-Fi version will come with a starting price of 1,299 Yuan (US$186), while the 4G model has a starting price of 1,599 Yuan (US$228).
As for the Honor Pad X6, it has a starting price of 1,099 Yuan (US$157) and 1,199 Yuan (US$171) respectively for its Wi-Fi and 4G models.
