Honor has recently unveiled the Honor Play4 and Honor Play4 Pro smartphones. A poster of the upcoming Honor Play 4e is now being circulated on China’s Weibo microblogging platform. The poster has revealed the design of the smartphone along with its key specifications.
The poster reveals that the Honor Play 4e is fitted with a 6.39-inch punch-hole display. The rear side of the smartphone has a vertical triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary shooter. The handset does not seem to be equipped with a fingerprint reader.
A volume rocker and a power key are available on the right spine of the Honor Play 4e. The handset is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 128 GB. The phone draws power from a 4,000mAh battery and it is driven by the Kirin 710A SoC. The poster hints that the 4GB+128GB edition of the Honor Play 4e has a three-digit price tag in China. The smartphone could be available in other variants in the market.
Recently, a Chinese tipster had claimed about the arrival of a new version of the Honor Play 3 that went official in September last year. He revealed that the main difference between the two phones is that the new version is equipped with 14nm Kirin 710A SoC while the Play 3 featured Kirin 710F.
Probably, the phone that the tipster is talking about could be the Honor Play 3 that has an identical appearance with Play 4e. Even the specs of both phones are remarkably similar. Apart from the chipset, the only major noticeable difference between the two devices is that the Play 4e has a 13-megapixel triple camera setup whereas the Play 3’s has a 48-megapixel primary lens in its triple camera unit.
