Recent reports have revealed that Honor is gearing up to launch three new smartphones named the Honor 30i, Honor 30 Max, and Honor Play 5 Vitality Edition (aka Play 5 Lite) in China. Today, the company took to its Weibo handle to reveal that the Play 5 Vitality Edition will be launching at 7:30 PM (local time) on Oct. 25.
The poster released by the brand shows that the Play 5 Lite will be flaunting a square-shaped camera module. It seems to be equipped with dual cameras and an LED flash. The right edge of the phone has a volume rocker and a power key, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. Its bottom edge seems to feature a speaker grille and a USB-C port.
The Honor Play 5 Lite moniker suggests that it will be positioned lower than Honor Play 5, which debuted earlier this year in China. The device is speculated to arrive with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specs of the Play 5 Lite.
Speculations are rife that the Honor 30 Max will be equipped with a massive display of 7.09 inches. It may feature the Dimensity 900 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery. For photography, it may feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. The device is expected to arrive with support for 22.5W fast charging.
As far as Honor 30i is concerned, it is rumored to arrive with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The rumor mill is yet to spill detailed information on the specs of the 30i.
