Yesterday, we just reported that Honor is currently prepping the brand new Honor Play5 series smartphones which are likely to debut somewhere during May next month. Now, one of the Honor Play 5 series smartphone, known as the Honor Play 5T Life Edition has been quietly announced in the Chinese market.
For starter, the Honor Play 5T Life Edition sports a 6.6” LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution. It comes with an 8 megapixels selfie camera housed within its dewdrop-notch, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Around its back panel, the device boasts a rectangular-shape camera module which brings along a quad-camera setup. These cameras include a 13 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 5T Life Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep its light on, the phone draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 22.5W fast-charging. On the software-side, the phone is shipped with Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Honor Play 5T Life Edition is available in both Black and Blue colorways. The device is priced at 1,299 Yuan (US$200) for its 6GB+128GB model.
