Honor is reportedly working on the Play 8T series of smartphones for the Chinese market. The lineup is expected to include two models, such as the Play 8T and Play 8T Pro, which will replace the Honor Play 7T lineup announced earlier this year. A new Honor phone with model number LLY-AN00 was recently approved by the 3C certification platform in China. Now, the same device has appeared in the database of the country’s TENAA certification. It is speculated that the LLY-AN00 will debut in October as the Honor Play 8T Pro.

The TENAA listing reveals that the Play 8T Pro measures 161.05 x 74.55 x 6.78mm and weighs only 166 grams. These dimensions show that it will be a very slim and lightweight smartphone.
Moving on to the display, the purported Play 8T Pro has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and is likely to support at least a 90Hz refresh rate. It appears that the device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the Play 8T Pro has a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, but its exact name is not known yet. The device is expected to arrive in multiple RAM options, such as 6 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB. In terms of storage, it may offer options, such as 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.
The Play 8T Pro houses a 4,500mAh battery and is expected to support 35W charging as per its 3C certification. It is likely to run on Magic OS 7.2-based Android 13. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.
