Honor Power 2’s new leak reveals more details, color options

Honor will end this year with a bang by launching the Honor Win series of performance-focused phones later this month in China. Next year, the brand is expected to make waves by announcing the Honor Power 2, a phone equipped with a 10,000mAh+ battery. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared a Weibo post revealing new details about the device.

As per the leak, the Honor Power 2 will arrive with a 6.79-inch OLED LTPS screen offering a 1.5K resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels. The display will feature a flat design and integrate a fingerprint sensor.

The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset, which is expected to debut in a couple of weeks. The same chip is also tipped to power the Redmi Turbo 5, which is rumoured to launch later this month in China.

The device will be backed by a massive 10,080mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. It appears that the phone will lack wireless charging support. The handset is expected to run Magic OS 10 based on Android 16.

The Honor Power 2, which is said to carry the Saber codename, will be available in three colour options: Snow White, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Orange.

As far as the launch is concerned, DCS claims that the Honor Power 2 is planned to debut before the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival. This suggests that the Power 2 may break cover sometime in January.
