Honor has just launched the Magic 8 series of flagship phones in China. Next, the brand is expected to unveil the Honor 500 series and the GT 2 series before the end of this year. In the first quarter of 2026, it is expected to unveil the Honor Power 2. Well before the launch, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked key details about the Power 2.
Honor Power 2 key specifications
According to the tipster, the Honor Power 2 will have an LTPS screen offering a 1.5K resolution. The tipster has previously revealed that it will have a screen size of 6.79 inches and has reiterated it today. The new leak claims that the screen will be equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Power 2 will feature the Dimensity 8500. As per reports, the said chip may debut as early as next month in China. It is expected to power the likes of the Redmi Turbo 5, Oppo Reno 15 Pro, and Realme Neo 8 before arriving on the Honor Power 2.
The major highlight of the Power 2 is that it will pack a humongous 10,000mAh battery. Despite packing such a large battery, the phone is tipped to maintain a slim profile of 8.x mm.
Apart from this, Honor is also working on two more phones, which are expected to launch in the first half of 2026 in China. These include the Honor Magic 8 Mini, which will be a compact offering, and the Magic 8 Ultra, which is expected to be an ultimate flagship phone packing even better cameras than the Magic 8 Pro.
