There have been reports that Honor will announce a new “Power” series of smartphones in China this month. Today, the brand released an official confirmation that it will take off covers from the Honor Power smartphone on April 15. Whie the launch date has been confirmed; its core specifications haven’t been revealed yet.
Honor Power: What to expect?

Rumors surrounding the Honor Power suggest that it may pack the largest battery ever seen on a phone by a mainstream brand. As per a Weibo post by tipster Experience More, the device will come equipped with a massive 7,800mAh battery. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the new Honor Power series.
The Honor Power is likely to be a performance-focused, affordable flagship phone. The teaser image suggests that its display features a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera.
The Honor Power is expected to face competition from the iQOO Z10 Turbo series, which is expected to launch this month in China. The lineup will feature two models, such as the Z10 Turbo and Z10 Turbo Pro, equipped with the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets, respectively.
Reports suggest that the Redmi may also unveil the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro later this month or in May in China. The said device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Speaking of performance-driven phones, Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT 7, equipped with the all-new Dimensity 9400 Plus chip, will debut this month in China.
