Honor President Hints Arrival of Honor X10 Max

Honor unveiled the Honor X10 5G smartphone in the previous month. Soon after the launch, reports started claiming that the company is planning to expand the X10 portfolio by introducing new phones. The rumor mill also revealed that the next X10 series phones will be called Honor X10 Max and Honor X10 Pro. It is speculated that the X10 Max will break cover first. Yesterday, Honor President took to Weibo to hint the arrival of the Honor X10 Max.

The machine translation of one of the recent Weibo posts from Zhao reveals that after two years, the company will be launching a large-sized smartphone. It will be a 5G-capable device.

Zhao seems to be hinting at the arrival of the Honor X10 Max smartphone. It will be succeeding the Honor 8X Max phone that came with a 7.12-inch IPS LCD screen with waterdrop notch.

The Honor X10 Max is expected to house a 7.09-inch display. It is unclear whether it is an OLED or LCD panel. The display is said to carry support for DCI-P3 color gamut Since the X10 Max will be a part of the X10 series, it could be arriving a notch-less display and it may feature a pop-up selfie camera.

Rumors have it that Honor will announce the Honor 30 Lite 5G smartphone on July 4 or 5 in China. The same event is expected to unleash the Honor X10 Max.

The X10 Max is said to be codenamed as King Kong. The handset may feature the same Kirin 820 5G chipset that fuels the Honor X10 5G phone. Considering the size of the phone, it is likely to house a behemoth battery.
