Honor Tablet V6 will be able to support both 5G & Wi-Fi 6

Recently, Honor had confirmed on an upcoming Honor Life launch event which will be held on May 18th. One of these products expected to debut during the event include the Honor Tablet V6.

Today, Honor has finally shed some lights on the highly-anticipated Honor Tablet V6. According to the company, the Honor Tablet V6 will be the first tablet in the world to support both 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Not only does the latest Wi-Fi 6 connectivity offers a much faster theoretical download speed, it is also able to maintain a stable network despite having more connections.

This is extremely important for “smart homes” which have loads of smart appliances or gadgets which requires Wi-Fi connection to interconnects with each other. Therefore, the upcoming Honor Tablet V6 will allow users to take advantage of the next generation’s Wi-Fi network.

Other than its connectivity, the rest of the device’s specs remain unknown for the time being. However, since the tablet is able to support 5G connectivity, it will certainly be fueled by a 5G-ready chip which could either be a Kirin 820, Kirin 985 or the flagship Kirin 990 SoC.
