Huawei, OnePlus and OPPO have already teamed up with luxury sports car brands to release an ultra-premium version of their flagship devices. For example, Huawei’s most recent Mate 30 Pro has a Porsche Design version, while OPPO Find X has a Automobili Lamborghini edition.
Now, it seems like Honor will be jumping into the bandwagon with their upcoming Honor V30 5G flagship as well. The company which Honor will be partnering with, will be none other than British supercar maker – Aston Martin.
Similar to most other supercar edition smartphones, the Honor V30 5G Aston Martin edition (which Honor may call it differently), will come with buffed up specs as well as an exclusive rear design and customization to suit the theme of an Aston Martin.
Of course, all these will come at a hefty price which most of us would not be willing to fork out even if we could afford. Take the Mate 30 RS Porsche as an example. The device itself cost 12,999 Yuan (US$1,850) in the Chinese market, which is almost two times the price of the Mate 30 Pro 5G even though they feature almost identical specs.
Whatever it is, we’ll still welcome this ultra-expensive smartphone with open arms on November 26th. Stay tune for more updates!
