Chinese smartphone giant Honor has announced that the company will be holding a global launch event on August 12th next month. This will be the first global launch event held by the company since it’s separation from Huawei.
Aside from it’s launch date, the launch invite sent by the company didn’t disclose any other details pertaining to the launch event including the location as well as the products that will debut during the event.
However, based on earlier reports, Honor is likely to announce the Honor 50 series smartphones as well as the highly anticipated Honor Magic 3 series flagship phones which we’d been hearing for quite some time.
For those who’d missed out, Honor had already confirmed that the upcoming Honor Magic 3 series smartphones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform, which makes them one of the first devices to adopt the new chipset.
What’s interesting is that these forthcoming Honor smartphones will finally be loaded with Google Mobile Services (GMS) as confirmed by the company previously.
