While the Honor Win series of performance-driven phones is set to launch on Dec. 26, the brand has not revealed any of its technical specifications. Today, a Weibo user shared a screenshot of the ‘About Phone’ page, which was reshared by Honor Performance Optimization R&D Engineer A Yong. The screenshot has officially confirmed some of the key specifications of the Honor Win.
Honor Win key specifications revealed
The image shows that the Honor Win’s display supports a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1272 pixels. Reports have revealed that it will be equipped with a 6.83-inch OLED panel that supports a 165Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Honor Win has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This chip is accompanied by a huge 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. A recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that it will offer 100W wired and 80W wireless charging support.
The screengrab further shows that the Honor Win has 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, 16GB of virtual RAM, the Honor C1+ RF enhancement chip, and the Honor E2 power efficiency enhancement chip. Reports suggest that it will have a 50-megapixel camera joined by two other cameras at the back. It will also feature an active cooling fan for heat dissipation. The official renders show that it will be available in black, blue, and silver shades.
In comparison, the Honor Win RT is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite and a slightly smaller battery. DCS’ leak revealed that it will also pack a 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. However, it will lack wireless charging support.
