Last month, Honor introduced the Honor X10 5G smartphone in China. After its debut, reports started claiming that the Chinese firm will launch more X10 series phones in the coming days. The rumor mill also started speculating that the next X10 series phones will be called Honor X10 Max and Honor X10 Pro. Today, Honor released an official confirmation that the Honor X10 Max will break cover on July 2.
As it can be seen in the below image, the major highlight of the Honor X10 Max is that it is equipped with a massive display. Recent reports have revealed that it will be arriving with a 7.09-inch screen.
Some reports had claimed that it could be sporting a notch-less display like the Honor X10 5G. However, the official launch date poster reveals that it has a waterdrop notch screen. It is yet to be confirmed whether the display is an LCD or OLED panel. The handset has rounded corners and there is a speaker grille and a microphone on the top edge of the device.
The display of the Honor X10 Max is surrounded by slim bezels. Hence, it is expected to impress audience by offering a high screen-to-body ratio. Shown above is the leaked shot of the phone that had appeared on Weibo yesterday. Like the official poster, the live shot also shows the handset sporting blue colored edges.
The Honor X10 Max could be powered by Kirin 820 5G chipset. The phone is speculated to be equipped with a 5,000mAh or larger battery. It is believed that Honor will also launch on the Honor 30 Lite 5G smartphone alongside the Honor X10 Max. However, there is no official confirmation yet on the arrival on the next Honor 30 series phone.
