After launching the Honor X30i and Honor X30 Max smartphones back in October, Honor is now back with the brand new Honor X30 that comes with slightly better specs than the aforementioned devices.
Starting with the front, the new Honor X30 features a 6.8” IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, it also has a centered hole-punch cutout to accommodate it’s 16 megapixels selfie camera.
At the back, that’s where things get a bit more interesting. It comes with a circular camera island that’s heavily inspired by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro (Review) and the Honor Magic 3. Anyway, the three cameras include a 48 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels camera for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Honor X30 is powered by a newly announced Snapdragon 695 chipset. In fact, it’s the second device after the Motorola Moto G71 5G that features this chipset. Other than that, it also has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Honor X30 draws power from a respectable 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’ll be shipped with the company’s in-house Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Honor X30 is available in four different colorways namely Black, Silver, Gold and Blue. It’ll be priced starting at 1,499 Yuan (US$235) for it’s 6GB+128GB base model.
