Honor X50 key specifications, color variants revealed before launch

In the latest leak shared by renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, exciting details have emerged about the upcoming Honor X50 smartphone. The tipster has shared a poster that reveals the design and color variants of the X50. In addition, he has tipped the key specifications of the device.

As can be seen, the Honor X50 has a curved-edge AMOLED display with a centred punch-hole. On the back, it has a round camera module. It will arrive in three colors, such as gradient white, silver, and orange, which seem to have a leather finish. For those who don’t know, the Honor X50 is scheduled to launch on July 5 in China.

The poster also reveals that the Honor X50’s display produces a 1.5K resolution. It will be one of the first phones to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It will pack a 6,000mAh battery, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage.

While no specific pricing details have been revealed in the leak, the Honor X50 is positioned as a “thousand-yuan device, (machine translated text)” indicating that it aims to deliver exceptional value for money.

In related news, Honor is also working on its next foldable phone. At the ongoing MWC 2023 in Shanghai, the Honor CEO Zhao Ming confirmed that the Honor Magic V2 will be unveiled on July 12.

There are numerous rumours that the Magic V2 will be available in two configurations, such as the Magic V2 Supreme Edition with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Magic V2 powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The exact details of the Magic V2 series are yet to be revealed.
