Besides launching the Honor X9, Honor has also announced another budget-focused smartphone in the Malaysian market known as the Honor X7 which appears to share a rather similar design language as the Honor Play 30 Plus which was launched in the Chinese market earlier this year.
The Honor X7 builds around a 6.74” IPS LCD display that comes along with a modest HD+ screen resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Other than that, there’s also an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
On the rear side, it features a dual-ring design for it’s camera housing which seems to be heavily inspired by the Huawei P50 series devices. There will be a total of four cameras at the back including a 48 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the Honor X7 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset just like some of the recent models such as the OPPO K10. This will be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Honor X7 is also backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 22.5W fast-charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone in two different colors including Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver. As of now, pricing and availability details of the Honor X7 has yet to be announced by the company.
