Honor has released an official confirmation that it will soon unveil a new smartphone called the Honor X9b in Malaysia. The brand has released the following poster to showcase its rear design. It appears that it could be a rebranded version of the Honor X50 5G, which recently debuted in the Chinese market.
The Honor X9b will arrive as a successor to the Honor X9a, which debuted in December 2022 in Malaysia. The device can be seen sporting an orange-coloured leather back and a dual-camera system.
The Honor X9b has appeared with model number ALI-NX1 in Geekbench’s database. The device has been spotted with specifications such as the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 13. These specifications further hint that the X9b will be a rebadged version of the Honor X50. Here is a look at the X50’s specifications.

The Honor X50 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1220 x 2652 pixels, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Magic OS 7.1-based Android 13.
