The Intex Aqua i7 is a high-end Android smartphone released back in September last year in India. This device has been the most powerful Android smartphone released by Intex, featuring a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek chipset which enable speedy web browsing and multi-tasking capability on the device. Although the Intex Aqua i7 is packed with all high-end specifications, it comes with a price tag of just RS. 19,000 – 3 times cheaper than the HTC One. Needless to say, we can still further improve the performance of the device by over-clocking its processor. To do so, we first have to root Intex Aqua i7. In this tutorial, we will be showing you exactly how to root Intex Aqua i7 using the Framaroot app.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Intex Aqua i7
- Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
- Make sure your battery level is at least 80% full before embarking the procedure.
- Back up the Intex Aqua i7.
Follow the steps below on how to root Intex Aqua i7
- Connect the Intex Aqua i7 to your PC.
- Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your PC over to your device’s SD card.
- On your device’s security settings, make sure the Unknown Sources option has been checked.
- On your device, open the file explorer app ( either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk.
- Launch the Framaroot app on your Intex Aqua i7.
- From the Select an action to execute after root section, select the Install Superuser option from the list.
- In the next section, you will have to select an exploit for your device. From this section, select either the Boromir or Faramir exploit.
- Once done, a success pop-up like the one should appear on your screen. If not, it’ll probably means you have selected a wrong option in either step 6 or 7.
- Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Intex Aqua i7.
- A superuser icon should now appear in your app drawer as well.
