How to root the Xolo Play T1000The Xolo Play T1000 is the first Xolo smartphone powered by an incredible 1.5 GHz quad-core Nvdia Tegra 3 processor which will definitely give users an unbeatable mobile experience. Although the Xolo Play T1000 is packed with all high-end specifications, it comes with a price tag of just $280 – 3 times cheaper than the HTC One and Galaxy S4. However no matter how powerful an Android device may be, it’ll never be complete if you doesn’t have root access on the device itself. That’s why we will be showing you how to root the Xolo Play T1000 in this tutorial.

 

Before we begin, I would like to warn you that during the process of rooting, there is a risk of bricking your own device. So if you still want to proceed, you’ll be doing it at your own risk and we will hold no responsible for any form of damage on your device. Its a good practice for you to backup your device to an external source apart from your own SD Card.

 

Follow the steps below on how to root the Xolo Play T1000

 

  1. Download the Xolo Play T1000 driver and MotoChopper to your PC.
  2. Install the Xolo Play T1000 driver to your PC.
  3. Extract the MotoChopper file to your desktop.
  4. Connect the Xolo Play T1000 to your PC. It should be able to detect your device.
  5. From the extracted file, double-click on the run.bat.
  6. A pop-up will then appear asking for permission to be granted. Click on Grant to continue.
  7. Your device will then reboot.
  8. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Xolo Play T1000.
  9. You will now have a SuperSu app in your app drawer.
