Yesterday, HTC had launched two mid-range phones named Desire 12 and Desire 12+. These handsets are equipped with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio supporting screen and are packed with modest specs.
Desire 12, Desire 12+ Specifications and Features
The Desire 12 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen whereas the Desire 12+ includes a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display. Both the handsets support 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Desire 12 is powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset. Its 16 GB and 32 GB models respectively feature 2 GB and 3 GB of RAM. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. It is houses a 2,730mAh battery. There is no fingerprint scanner on this device.
The Desire 12+ has Snapdragon 450 onboard. The SoC is supported by 3 GB of RAM and it has 32 GB of native storage. It has 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras and a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. It is fueled by 2,965mAh battery. It features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
The other common features on both phones include microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi.
Desire 12, Desire 12+ Pricing and Availability
The Desire 12 has a starting price of 185 euros and it comes in Blue and Silver colors. The Desire 12+ is also available in same color options with a pricing of 235 euros. The pre-orders of the Desire 12 duo have started and their shipments will begin in early April.
