HTC Desire 19s Launched in Taiwan

HTC is almost given up on its smartphone business and it seems that the company may now resurrect it anytime soon. The company is now focused on its virtual reality business. Despite dismal sales report for its smartphones, the Taiwanese company has launched the Desire 19s smartphone in the home ground.

HTC Desire 19s Specifications and Features

The HTC Desire 19s has a 6.2-inch display that supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The MediaTek Helio P22 chipset powers the phone with 3 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 32 GB and there is a microSD card slot onboard for more storage.

The Android 9 Pie OS overlaid with HTC Sense UI runs on the device. The rear side of the phone features 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple rear cameras. It has a 16-megapixel front camera. The device is backed by a 3,850mAh battery that supports only 10W charger through USB-C. A fingerprint reader is placed on the backside of the device. It carries support for dual SIMs, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The rear design of the phone is bit unique as its upper half is glossy and lower part has a textured finish.

Free Blue and Yashi Black are the two color editions of the HTC Desire 19s. It is now available for purchase with a price tag of TWD 5,990 ($196).
