HTC Desire 20 Pro to feature a hole-punched display & quad-camera setup

Recently, we’d already heard about the existence of an upcoming HTC smartphone dubbed as the HTC Desire 20 Pro. This device, according to reports, is expected to be a mid-ranger smartphone which could revitalize the smartphone sales for the Taiwanese company.

Today, a schematic design of the HTC Desire 20 Pro had been leaked – revealing the front and rear design of the handset. Based on the schematic design, we can now affirm that the device will employ a hole-punched design at the front, and has a vertical camera module at the back which houses a quad-camera setup.

As described by reputable tipster @LlabTooFeR, its design seems to be a fusion between OnePlus 8 front design coupled with Xiaomi Mi 10 rear design. Moreover, there is also a presence of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual-LED flash affixed towards the right of its rear cameras. Another key feature include the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

According to it’s earlier Geekbench listing, the HTC Desire 20 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 660 platform assisted by 6GB of RAM. Keeping in mind that most current mid-ranger phones from Xiaomi, Realme and OPPO are now packing at least a Snapdragon 7-series SoC, the HTC Desire 20 Pro may seems slightly underwhelming unless the device could be offered at a more attractive price point.
