HTC is no longer an active smartphone brand as it used to be a couple of years back. Apart from launching the HTC U20 5G as its first 5G phone in 2020, it unveiled only two other phones such as Desire 20 Pro and Desire 20+. It seems that the Taiwan-based firm is preparing to launch a new smartphone soon. Several live shots of the upcoming HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G have emerged on SlashLeaks. As the name goes, it appears to be the successor to the Desire 20 Pro.
The real-life images of the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G show that it is fitted with a tall aspect ratio screen that features a selfie camera cutout at the top-center. One of the images of the Desire 21 Pro 5G has revealed that its model number is “2QAG100.” The handset is preloaded with Android 10 OS and it has support for dual SIM support. The leak has no information on the other specs of the device.
Flipping to the backside of the Desire 21 Pro 5G reveals its uniquely designed rear shell. Probably, the green-colored rear shell could only be a protective case. A volume rocker and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner can be found on the right spine of the smartphone. The handset does not seem to feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
The rectangle-shaped camera housing at the upper-left corner has four cameras, and an LED flash unit. A closer look at the camera module reveals that it has a primary camera of 48-megmapixel. To see more images of the phone, readers can visit the source link below.
Various smartphone manufacturers are expected to announce new phones in Q1 this year. It remains to be seen whether the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G also debuts in this quarter.
