We know most of the users of the HTC One are probably upset that their device is installed with Android 4.1.2 onboard instead of the latest Android 4.2.2, which the owners of Galaxy S4 are enjoying. However, according to the folks at Phone Arena, users of the HTC One may no longer need to be envy of their Galaxy S4 pals as its manufacturer will soon be rolling out the Android 4.2.2 update to the device in the coming weeks.
Besides the upcoming Android 4.2.2 update, we’re also hearing rumors that HTC will soon be announcing the stock version of the HTC One, meaning it’ll not be coming with the HTC Sense UI. This will definitely be a great news for those hoping to enjoy the Nexus experience on the HTC One. We’re not sure when this version will be released, but in case you do not know, Samsung has already launched their stock Galaxy S4 during Google I/O last week.
Let’s hope HTC will give us more information on the upcoming updates in the next few days, so stay with us in the meantime!
