HTC has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on June 11 to announce a new smartphone. It will be the company’s first phone to debut this year. The Taiwanese company has confirmed the June 11 launch event through the Facebook page of HTC Taiwan.
The launch poster of the mysterious phone that is getting official next week has vague information about it. The Chinese text on the poster translates to “let’s place e” which suggests that the Taiwanese company may launch a gaming-centric smartphone in the coming week.
Recently, a smartphone that has model number 2Q7A100 was approved by the National Communications Commission (NCC) in Taiwan. The smartphone was also spotted on AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmarking platforms in April.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset is present under the hood of the device along with 6 GB of RAM. It has a 6-inch display that carries support for full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset is packed with a 3,930mAh battery that carries support for Quick Charge 4. The other details of the smartphone are currently under the wraps.
