HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play that belong to the new U lineup of smartphones from HTC were unveiled at the start of the year. Now, Evan Blass, well-reputed leakster has revealed that the HTC U codenamed as Ocean would be third phone in the U series that will be arriving with flagship specifications.
The USP of the HTC U will be that it will coming with a touch-sensitive metallic frame and it will not be sporting any physical buttons. The edges of the device will support various kinds of gestures to access various functions of the phone.

As far as HTC U specifications are concerned, Blass has revealed that the smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display that with support for quad HD resolution. The Snapdragon 835 SoC would be powering up the device. It also features a microSD card slot.
It will be coming with Android 7.1 Nougat skinned with HTC Sense 9 UI. For photography, it will come with 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 rear camera and 16-megapixel Sony IMX351 sensor enabled front-facing camera.

There is no information available on the RAM capacity and battery of the device. Blass claims that the HTC U would be releasing in April and it will be available for buying by May. It is expected to be available in storage sizes of 64 GB and 128 GB.
