According to Android Authority, HTC is currently prepping a new smartphone for their current U-branded lineup. This soon to be announced smartphone currently dubbed as HTC Ocean Life will be launched as HTC U11 Life instead.
The same report revealed that the HTC U11 Life would be coming with a similar front panel as the current U11 as seen in the render above. Specs-wise, the device will be featuring a slightly smaller display at 5.2″ and supports a FULL HD display resolution. Under the hood, the U11 Life is powered by a Snapdragon 630 SoC with 32GB internal storage space. As for its camera, there will be a 16 megapixel main snapper at the back as well as a 16 megapixel front-facing selfie cam.
Its good to know that the device is also IP67 certified – meaning it is resistant against dust and water to a certain extent. Likewise, you can also find HTC’s own Edge Sense in the upcoming U11 Life – something which was previously limited only to their flagship device. Moreover, the device will be accompanied with a HTC USonic earbuds in its packaging which hints that the U11 Life may not be having a 3.5mm headphone jack after all.
As of now, we’ll have to wait for more details regarding its official unveiling date.
