HTC has recently launched the HTC U12+ flagship phone and it is speculated to be working on its budget-friendly version called U12 Life. A recent report by Android Authority had revealed the entire specifications of the upcoming U12 Lite. Today, a German publication has shared the schematics of the smartphone. The rear design of the phone resembles with the original Google Pixel.
As it can be seen in the above image, the U12 Life will be arriving with an 18:9 aspect ratio supporting display as the upper and lower bezels appeared to be reduced when compared to the predecessor U11 Life. The two-tone rear design of the smartphone reminds of the original Google Pixel which also sported the same design. However, instead of the single camera on the Google Pixel, the U12 Life features a vertical dual camera setup. The upper portion of the back panel features a fingerprint scanner. There is no confirmation on whether the dual-tone back panel features glass at the top and metal at the bottom.
It is speculated that the U12 Life be arriving with a 6-inch IPS LCD display that supports FHD+ resolution. It is expected to feature 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel. The Snapdragon 636 SoC is present under the hood of the phone. It is fueled by 3,600mAh battery. There is no information on the launch date of the smartphone.
