Huawei has confirmed that it will hold its next launch event on Dec. 26 in China. The brand is expected to announce the much-awaited Nova 12 series of sub-flagship phones.
The brand released the above poster to confirm it will announce the Huawei Free Clip open-ear buds on Dec. 26 in the home market. For those who don’t know, the said device was recently unveiled with the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet in Dubai. It is said that the same event will see the arrival of other products, such as the Aito M9 car and the Nova 12 series of smartphones.
According to reports, the Nova 12 lineup will comprise multiple devices, such as the Nova 12 Lite (or Vitality Edition), the Nova 12, the Nova 12 Pro, and the Nova 12 Ultra. According to reports, the Nova 12 Lite will have an OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will have a 60-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back. It is unclear whether the device will support 5G connectivity.
The Nova 12 is said to be a 4G device, whereas the Nova 12 Pro and Ultra are likely to feature the Kirin 9000s and support 5G connectivity. According to reports, the Ultra model will have an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. It will have a pair of 60-megapixel cameras on the front and is said to have a 50-megapixel main camera on the back.
The Ultra variant is said to support 100W charging, but there is no information about its battery size. In addition, it is expected to support two-way satellite communication.
