Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is doing so well in the smartphone market, many thanks to its Honor brand. This brand is set to unveil a couple of smartphones this year but right now, information has it that Huawei is set to unveil a mid-range smartphone dubbed Huawei Honor 7C at a special event in Beijing on March 12. Well, we do not think that it is a coincidence that Xiaomi Redmi 5 will also be launching on the same date. Both devices will probably rival each other with a similar price tag. This smartphone surfaced at TENAA some weeks ago thus a couple of specs have leaked online.
From previous rumors, the Huawei Honor 7C will be powered by an unknown chip clocking 1.8GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will be equipped with a 5.99-inch display trendy full-screen display with a 1440 × 720 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. In the camera department, Huawei Honor 7C should sport a dual rear camera setup with 13+2MP sensors mix coupled with an 8MP selfie shooter. It runs on Android Oreo and its lights will be kept on by a 2900mAh battery. Interestingly, this smartphone will sport some attractive features besides the major specs listed above. It is scheduled to come with metal housing using a three-stage antenna design and its camera module will be placed in the upper left corner. This makes it quite similar to the Honor V9 or perhaps, it is a cheaper version of the V9. Facial recognition and a host of beautifying features are some other component of this smartphone which makes it promising.
