Back in September, Huawei released the tentative EMUI 10 beta update schedule for a total of 33 Huawei and Honor smartphones. As per the schedule, Huawei has officially kicked off the EMUI 10 closed beta program for 3 more devices including Huawei Nova 5 Pro, as well as the MediaPad M6 8.4″ and 10.8″ tablets.
As always, the closed beta testing is currently open only to the Chinese users. However, Huawei is likely to roll out a global beta recruitment program for the aforementioned smartphones on a later date as well.
After this trio, the next set of devices to commence the closed beta testing is expected to be the Huawei Nova 4, Honor 10, Honor V10, as well as Honor 8X.
What exactly is the EMUI 10 internal beta testing program?
Huawei’s internal beta testing program essentially allows users to have the first-hand experience of the unreleased EMUI 10 updates and in turn provide useful feedback to the developers such as bug reporting.
This is crucial to the overall user experience as it will help to ensure that the official update being rolled out is bug-free and able to run smoothly on the device.
What can we expect from the EMUI 10?
As a quick summary, some of the key features which will arrive with EMUI 10 include a refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and many more.
