As scheduled, Huawei has commenced the EMUI 10 internal beta testing program for 3 more Honor smartphones starting today. These devices include Honor 10, Honor V10, as well as Honor 8X.
The closed beta testing is currently open only to the Chinese users. However, Huawei is likely to roll out a global beta recruitment program for the aforementioned smartphones on a later date as well.
Apparently, this will be the few batches of device to take part in the internal beta testing program as the majority of smartphones are already in the public beta or even official roll out phase.
Last week, Huawei has began rolling out the EMUI 10 stable update to another batch 8 Honor and Huawei smartphones including Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, Mate 20 X (4G), Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, as well as Honor Magic 2.
If nothing goes wrong, most of the eligible Honor and Huawei smartphones should be updated to EMUI 10 by early 2020. However, there are still no official words on the availability of EMUI 10 update for certain devices like Honor Play which ought to be updated given that the device is only slightly more than a year old.
What can we expect from the EMUI 10?
As a quick summary, some of the key features which will arrive with EMUI 10 include a refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and many more.
