Huawei Maimang 9 goes official with Dimensity 800, 64MP Triple-cameras & 22.5W fast-charging

During the past couple of months, Huawei has been consistently launching quite a number of 5G mid-ranger smartphones on a monthly basis. After launching the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro last month, the Chinese smartphone maker is now back with another attractive 5G mid-ranger known as the Huawei Maimang 9.

For starter, the Huawei Maimang 9 features a pretty huge 6.8-inches FHD+ LCD display which comes with support for HDR10 contents. This time round, the device utilizes a hole-punch design to accommodate its 16 megapixels selfie camera and also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Over at the back, the Huawei Maimang 9 maintains a typical pill-shape camera housing which play host to a triple-cameras array which include an impressive 64 megapixels main camera. The other two sensors include an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits.

Under the hood, the device will be driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. In terms of connectivity, it will be able to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.

To keep its lights on, the Huawei Maimang 9 will be fueled by a 4,300mAh battery at the helm which carries support for 22.5W fast-charging. As usual, the device will be shipped with the custom EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).

In the Chinese market, the Huawei Maimang 9 will be priced at 2,199 Yuan (US$314) and 2,399 Yuan (US$343) for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models respectively.
