Huawei is known for releasing the same smartphone in multiple names for different markets. The company is at once again as it newly unveiled Mate 10 Lite for European markets was previously launched in other markets with different names like Maimang 6 for China, Nova 2i for Malaysia and Honor 9i for India. The Mate 10 Lite was not launched at Mate 10 flagship event. The company chose to announce it separately after the debut of Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design flagship phones.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite Specs and Features
Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a 5.9-inch LCD screen that produces 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. The Kirin 659 chipset is the driving force of the phone. The smartphone is powered by 3,340mAh battery.
The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM and it comes with an internal storage of 64 GB. The hybrid SIM slot allows users to add a microSD to the phone for additional storage. It is loaded with usual connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, v4.2 Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It arrives preinstalled with EMUI 5.1 flavored Android 7.0 Nougat.
The rear side of the Mate 10 Lite is fitted with a dual camera system that includes a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. For shooting selfies, the handset has dual selfie snappers featuring a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite Price
The pre-orders of Mate 10 Lite will begin starting from Nov. 1 in Germany. It will be available with a price tag of 349 euros and it will come in color choices like Prestige Gold, Graphite Black and Aurora Blue colors.
