It has been officially confirmed by Huawei that it will be unveiling the Huawei Mate 10 series phones on Oct. 16. Huawei Mate 10 series smartphones are rumored to include Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite.
In the previous week, reliable leakster Evan Blass had revealed that the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are respectively codenamed as Marcel and Blanc. Fresh information revealed by Blass reveals that the Mate 10 Lite is codenamed as Alps.
According to Blass, the Mate 10 Pro would be arriving with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen that will produce a resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels and it will be powered by Kirin 970 chipset. The screen will be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. The SoC will be coupled with 6 GB of RAM and it will be coming in two storage models of 64 GB and 128 GB. It is packed with a 4,000mAh battery. Its rear-facing dual camera module includes 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. It will be sporting a slim profile of 7.5mm.
The Mate 10 Lite has a 5.88-inch IPS LCD display that delivers an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It is will be driven by Kirin 970 and 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to house a larger battery as it has a thicker chassis of 8.23mm
