The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro have been officially announced through an unveil event in London. These are first Android phones to be powered by 7nm chipset. Also, they are designed to deliver stunning photography experience through the triple camera system.

The Huawei Mate 20 features a 6.53-inch LCD screen with waterdrop notch and FHD+ resolution. Its back panel features a triple camera system with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom. A fingerprint scanner resides on the backside of the Mate 20.
The Mate 20 Pro is fitted with a 6.39-inch dual-edge curved AMOLED screen that delivers QHD+ resolution. The wide notch of the phone includes necessary sensors for 3D face unlock. The smartphone is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The triple camera unit of the Mate 20 Pro includes 40-megapixel wide-angle lens, 20-megapixel ultra wide angle lens and 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The Mate 20 duo are equipped with 24-megapixel front-facing cameras.
The Kirin 980 chipset powers the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The Mate 20 has 4,000mAh battery whereas the Mate 20 Pro is packed with a larger 4,200mAh battery. Both phones carry support for 40W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Mate 20 lacks stereo speakers and IP68 certification which are available on the Mate 20 Pro. The latter does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Both phones are equipped with nanoSD card slots for additional storage. The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS that is flavored with EMUI 9.0. Both phones also support dual-band GPS and dual 4G VoLTE.
The Mate 20 come with 128 GB storage and it can be availed in 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options. These variants are respectively priced at 799 euros and 849 euros. On the other side, the Mate 20 Pro with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage carries a pricing of 1,050 euros.
