Over the past three months, we have seen a couple of smartphones which included Xiaomi Mi 8 series, Xiaomi Mi A2/A2 Lite, Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, oppo Find X, Huawei Honor Note 10 and a host of others. Now, we are looking forward to the release of devices such as Galaxy Note 9 (August 2018), 2018 iPhone series (from September 2018) and the Huawei Mate 20 which is supposed to come during IFA 2018 in November. Huawei Mate 20 will have two siblings, Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Lite. This series is expected to use the new Kirin 980 chipset but other salient details of the Mate 20 series recently surfaced online.
According to reports, the Mate 20 will be equipped with a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro version will come with a larger 6.9-inch. The Lite variant is expected to be the smallest display in the series. Recent reports suggest that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will come with super fast Wireless Charging, on-screen fingerprint sensor and will run on EMUI 8.2 or perhaps EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 P. Save the on-screen fingerprint sensor, the other features are also expected in the standard model. On the standard variant, we expect the processor to be supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage while the Pro version should get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. As of now, there are no details on the Lite model. Since we still have at least two months before the launch of this series, we expect that more information will surface online as time proceeds.
