Huawei Mate 20 X 5G Has Been Sold Out During Debut Sale

After a long wait, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G finally went on its debut sale in the Chinese market. However, it was relatively short lived. In less than an hour, the device has already been sold out.

According to it’s listing on JD.com, the next round of sale will commence again tomorrow. Those who’re interested will have to register again to participate in the sale.

Since the Mate 20 X 5G had achieved more than one million registrations prior to it’s debut sale, it isn’t anything surprising if it’s unable to meet the demand during the debut sale.

In China, the Mate 20 X 5G comes with a staggering price tag of 6,199 Yuan (US$900) for its 8GB+256GB model, but as seen today, that doesn’t seems to deter the Chinese consumers to grab one for themselves.

Besides from the ramped up memory configuration, downsized battery capacity (but with the inclusion of 40W SuperCharge support) and the support for 5G connectivity, the rest of it’s specs remain consistent with the vanilla Mate 20 X.

That being said, it’s 5G capability alone is enough to greatly improve the user experience with the smartphone. Besides being able to download files or other online media faster, you also get to enjoy improved frame rates when gaming as well. This makes it an all rounded smartphone for both entertainment and productivity.

From what we’d learned so far, the next 5G device from Huawei will most likely be coming from the upcoming Mate 30 series which will be reportedly be announced in September next month.
