Previously, a pair of Huawei smartphones with model number TAS-AL00 and LIO-AL00 had been certified by the Chinese TENAA and Bluetooth SIG. Although the aforementioned agencies didn’t reveal any information on the two upcoming smartphones, but many believed they are part the feverishly-anticipated Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.
Right now, the same devices had apparently attained their China Compulsory Certification (3C) certifications as well. This means that the Mate 30 series will be a step closer towards it’s official launch in the Chinese market, which is expected to occur after the European launch event on September 19th.
According to the 3C listing, it was revealed that both devices can support up to 40W fast-charging. This is of course, similar to what rumors have been pointing towards for the upcoming Mate 30 series. So far, none of the devices certified supports 5G connectivity. However, we are likely to see a Mate 30 Pro 5G variant to be introduced at a later date.
While recent reports have confirmed that the Mate 30 series will not be loaded with official Google Play apps and services, but Huawei is said to be forging ahead with it’s scheduled September 19th launch in Europe.
