The Huawei Mate 8 which was announced last month will finally go on sale starting this Wednesday, December 9th, in the Chinese market.
According to sources, the 3GB / 32GB version will come with a price tag of CNY 2,999 ($470), CNY 3699 ($580) for the 4GB / 64GB version, CNY 4399 ($690) for the 4GB / 128GB version and finally CNY 6888 ($1075) for the exclusive champagne version.
He Gang, who heads the company’s smartphone division, also claimed that the company is planning to produce 1 million units per month.
In case you do not know, the Huawei Mate 8 will be running on the latest 8-cores Kirin 950 SoC and rocks in incredible 6″ FHD IPS display powered by a 4,000mAh battery at the back. Camera-wise, you can also expect a top-tier 16MP rear shooter and a 8MP front camera for selfies. No doubt, the phablet will be coming along with their latest EMUI 4.0 OS based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
