Recently, a couple of new Huawei phones, bearing the model numbers VYG-AL00, SGT-AL00, and SGT-AL50, were approved by China’s 3C certification platform. According to DCS, these devices belong to the Mate 80 lineup. While the VYG (Voyager) model has been spotted with an 80W charger at 3C certification, the SGT (Sagittarius) models have appeared with a 100W charger.

To be specific, the Mate 80 has the VYG-AL00 model number, whereas the SGT-AL00 and SGT-AL50 belong to the Pro models. As per reports, the Mate 80 lineup will include the Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+, and Mate 80 RS, apart from the standard model.

DCS further said that the Huawei Mate 80 series’ engineering prototype has a circular camera deco on the back. Alongside it, a bar-style dual-colour temperature flash is reportedly placed towards the upper left, while a symmetrical bar-shaped sensor sits on the upper right. Beneath the main setup, along the centre axis, there appears to be a multispectral lens.

As far as the launch is concerned, DCS revealed that the Huawei Mate 80 series is tentatively scheduled to debut in November. The Mate 80 series is expected to feature Huawei’s new Kirin 9030 chipset.
