Huawei Mate X 3C Certified; Likely to Debut Soon

The Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone that has a model number of TAH-AN00 has been certified by the 3C authority of China. Since it is one of the requisites smartphone OEMs need to meet before launching a phone in China, it appears that the Mate X’s China arrive is close at hand. It is the second 5G phone from Huawei after the Mate 20 X to bag 3C approval.

The Mate X 3C listing reveals that it has been 3C certified along with HW-200200CP1 charger that supports up to 65W charging. However, as the company had that the Mate X foldable phone will carry support for 55W SuperCharge fast charging technology.

In a recent testing, He Gang who leads Huawei’s smartphone division had revealed that Huawei Mate X could reach 1 Gbps download speeds and 100 Mbps upload speeds on Ookla Speed Test app. The Kirin 980 chipset that powers the Mate X is accompanied by Balong 5000 5G modem that can reach peak 5G speeds of 4.6 Gbps.

Now that Huawei Mate X and Mate 20 X 5G phones have received approval from 3C authority, they may soon launch in China. The company had previously claimed that it will be launching the Mate X in the home market in the month of June.
