Recently, a tipster from China had claimed that Huawei will be soon launching a tablet named Huawei MatePad 10.8 in China.
Now, it seems that the arrival of the MatePad 10.8 is now close at hand after its official listing on JD.com was spotted. The listing revealed the key specs as well as the pricing of the MatePad 10.8. A search on JD.com does not show up the MatePad 10.8 listing as it has been taken down.
The screengrab of the Huawei MatePad 10.8 JD listing states that it will be unveiled on July 30 and its sale will be carried out on Aug. 13. It states that the device is priced at 2,299 Yuan for the Wi-Fi only 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage version of the MatePad 10.8. It will be available with a 100 Yuan discount on the first sale.
The Huawei MatePad 10.8 is powered by the Kirin 990 chipset. The 10.8-inch display of the device supports 2K resolution and it delivers 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet comes with support for Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
The MatePad 10.8 will come with M Pencil stylus support. Leaked information has claimed that the tablet is equipped with a front camera of 8-megapixel and it has a rear camera of 13-megapixel.
The EMUI 10 based Android 10 OS runs on the MatePad 10.8. The device is backed by a 7,500mAh battery.
