Huawei MatePad Pro has been certified by Chinese 3C authority

Most of us have already heard about an upcoming Huawei’s tablet dubbed as the MatePad Pro. This Android-based tablet was previously reported to have an internal code name “Marx” according to 91Mobiles.

Today, an unannounced Android tablet carrying the exact code name has been certified by the Chinese 3C authority, carrying the model number MRX-W09, MRX-W19, MRX-AL09 and MRX-AL19.

According to the information provided, the MRX-W09 and MRX-W19 are expected to be the Wi-Fi variants, while the MRX-AL09 and MRX-AL19 should be the 4G variants. Similarly, it was also revealed that both tablets will be able to support up to 40W fast-charging as well.

Huawei MatePad Pro Render

Although there isn’t much technical information available for the MatePad Pro so far, but we’d already knew how the tablet will look like courtesy of the earlier leaked renders from Android Headlines.

The MatePad Pro will be the first tablet from Huawei to sport a hole-punched display – which was typically seem only among smartphones. On the rear side of the tablet, there is also a capsule-shaped camera module which houses two camera sensors as well as a LED flash. Apparently, the MatePad Pro will be available in a variety of color options including Black, White, Green and Orange.

Huawei MediaPad Pro

Other than that, we’d also learned from the earlier render from Evan Blass that the MatePad Pro will also be coming with M-pen and magnetic keyboard support just like the current MediaPad M6.
