We have already knew that Huawei will be announcing their new Huawei Nova 5 series on June 21st later this week. However, it seems like the Nova 5 series will not be the only one under the limelight.
Earlier today, Huawei has officially confirmed that their new Huawei MediaPad M6 tablet will make its official debut on the same day as well. According to rumors, the Chinese smartphone maker may introduce two versions of the MediaPad M6 – one with 8.4-inch display and another higher-end model with 10.7-inch display.
Huawei MediaPad M6 Specifications
Both tablets are expected to arrive with significant upgrades from its predecessors in terms design and its technical aspects. One of the key difference between the MediaPad M5 and M6 will lie on its processor. Unlike the MediaPad M5, the upcoming M6 8.4″ and 10.7″ will both be powered by the latest Kirin 980 SoC.
In its memory compartment, we may see a bump for in the amount of RAM for the 10.7-inch model. Currently, the MediaPad M5 10.7″ only has a RAM capacity of 4GB which is certainly not enough for multitasking nowadays. So perhaps the new MediaPad M6 may debut with 6GB of RAM this time round.
If you’re curious about its design, we had actually saw its official design on JD.com last month with minimal bezels and the removal of the physical Home button.
To sum up, we could see up to five devices being announced during the upcoming June 21st launch event including the Huawei Nova 5i, Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, MediaPad 8.4″, as well as MediaPad 10.7″.
