The Huawei Nova 16 Ultra has started appearing in early leaks ahead of its expected launch later this year. A new leak that has surfaced indicate that it could bring improvements in performance, battery capacity, and camera hardware. Here’s a look at all the details that have emerged through the leak.

According to information shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, Huawei is testing a new device equipped with a 6.84-inch LTPO display featuring a 1.5K resolution. Although the device name has not been officially confirmed, the specifications are believed to belong to the Huawei Nova 16 Ultra.
The phone is expected to run on a Kirin 9 series processor. If this information proves accurate, it would represent a notable upgrade compared to the previous generation. The Huawei Nova 15 Ultra was launched with the Kirin 9010S chipset, which offered strong performance in its category.
Battery capacity may also see a significant increase. The Nova 16 Ultra is reportedly being tested with a battery close to 7,000mAh, which could deliver longer usage for gaming, streaming, and everyday tasks.
The leak indicates that Huawei is testing a 50-megapixel main camera equipped with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, which could enhance image quality and low-light performance. The rear camera setup may also include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for long-range photography along with a multispectral sensor. The device is also expected to support wireless charging.
As far as launch is concerned, the Huawei Nova 16 series is expected to debut around June this year.
